Cookie policy

A few cookies, only the essential ones, and statistics only if you accept them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a site, so that it remembers a few things from page to page or from one visit to the next.

The cookies we use

CookieTypeDurationWhat it does
bynix_session Essential 2 hours Keeps your session as you move from page to page.
XSRF-TOKEN Essential 2 hours Protects the forms from submissions you didn’t make.
bx_consent_analytics Essential 12 months Remembers whether you accepted statistics, so we don’t ask again.
user_locale_preference Functional 12 months Remembers the site’s language.
vt_visitor Statistics 12 months Only with your consent: a pseudonymous identifier to count visits.
_ga Statistics Up to 2 years Google Analytics (Google), only with your consent: tells visitors apart, so we can count how many come.
_ga_0KP2C2S3BJ Statistics Up to 2 years Google Analytics (Google), only with your consent: keeps track of the current visit (pages, duration).

Essential

Without these the site doesn’t work properly: they keep your session, protect the forms and remember your cookie choice. They don’t need consent.

Statistics

Only if you press “Accept” are the statistics cookies set: one of our own, which helps us count visits and see which pages are read, and two from Google Analytics (Google), which show us where visitors come from and how many write to us or call.

Before you press “Accept”, Google Analytics doesn’t load at all and nothing is sent to Google. Our own statistics stay on our own servers. We don’t use Google Analytics for advertising, and we never send it your name, email, phone or message.

Storage in your browser

Besides cookies, the site keeps a couple of small preferences in your browser, which never leave your device:

KeyWhereWhat it does
bx-theme localStorage Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme.
bx-seen sessionStorage Remembers you already saw the site’s intro, while the tab is open.
bx-flood sessionStorage Makes the move from page to page smooth.
bx-read sessionStorage Remembers the last article you read on this visit, so that if you write to us we know what interested you.
bx-ticks:… localStorage Remembers which items you ticked in an article’s checklists.

Third parties

We don’t use advertising cookies or social network pixels. Google Analytics sets its cookies only with your consent (see “Statistics”). Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set a security cookie (such as __cf_bm) when it needs to tell people apart from bots.

How to change your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, with the “Cookie settings” button here or at the bottom of every page. Once you withdraw it, the statistics cookies are deleted and Google Analytics stops.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings.

Let’s talk.

What shall we build together?

Pick whatever fits; we will work out the rest together.

Tell us the idea.

If you like, tell us more in your own words. Or leave it empty and go on to your details.

If you are not sure where to start:

Where should we answer you?

We will call you.

Leave your details and tell us when suits you.

When suits you?

We use your details only to reply to you. Privacy policy
